Fr. Robert O. Hickman

Knights of Columbus Assembly 1883 - Northwestern Virginia, USA

Fourth Degree members of the Knights of Columbus have chosen to embrace Patriotism and embody the fact that one can be a faithful Catholic and faithful citizen.

The Fourth Degree is the highest and most prestigious rank in the Knights of Columbus, focused on the virtue of patriotism. Members earn the title "Sir Knight" and belong to local groups called assemblies rather than standard councils.

The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus was established on February 22, 1900, on the principle of patriotism – love for and devotion to one’s country – and is an important part of the overall Knights of Columbus, a Catholic, family, fraternal, service organization.
Sir Knights of the 4th degree Assemblies actively support the military especially veterans and their many needs.
